Happy Birthday Lucas

Lucas turned 1 today. It was a beautiful sunny day, much like the day he was born. We spent our day together, just the two of us. I thought mostly of this same day last year. Words can't describe it. His birth was a wonderful experience and I am so happy that my little baby is now one year old. It was a beautiful day.

We spent the afternoon at Lucas' favorite place - the playground.

Daddy's gift

This is what Randy gave to Lucas for his 1st birthday.

It's a giant blow up dog ball pit. I don't know who likes it more, Randy or Lucas?

Rainy Dayz

Lucas and I found a great indoor play gym for kids 5 and under. It's a preschool that has open play at different times during the week. He had a great time with all the fun stuff and of course with the other kids.

Halloween weekend

Aunt Jana came to spend the weekend...we made Hamburger soup, cupcakes, and ate lots of kit kats.



Then it was a Halloween miracle when Daddy showed up on the doorstep, just in time to carve the pumpkins!



They were some sad looking pumpkins, but Lucas enjoyed them.




On Sunday we took Lucas to the Seattle Aquarium.














We had a great weekend!

Lucas and I went to visit daddy on Tuesday and we found a great Pumpkin Patch. We had lots of fun picking out our pumpkins for this year. They had a petting zoo, a play ground, and the most "sincere" pumpkin patch...
