We traveled to California again this year to spend the holidays with all the extended Butticci family. It was an eventful trip, filled with lots of parties, presents, food, fun, and family.

The moment we arrived we started cooking and preparing for the festivities.

Randy left today for Japan. He will be gone of two months. We miss him already and hope that the first part of this year flows into spring smoothly and without incident. Love to my husband.

Christmas Party

Sunday evening was our first Christmas party of the season. Every Tuesday we venture down to the community center where Lucas gets to run around and play with a bunch of other kids - Toddler Time - sponsored by the MOMS Club of Port Orchard. They hosted a great Christmas party...

We started off with some crafts - Reindeer antlers.

Surprisingly he wore them all evening.

Santa arrives!

Trying to sit patiently while Santa rummages through his bundle of toys.

Waiting for his named to be called...

Call my name next Santa, please, I've been a good boy, really...

Finally.

A private conversation...

Opening his gift:)

Zoo Lights 2009

This video clip is from last weekends tree lighting down at city hall, The Chimes and Lights Festival. It was a great evening, but soooo cold; we stayed just long enough...

This weekend we went to Zoo Lights. Pretty much the same as last year, but we were a bit more prepared - hot coco and chocolate chip cookies:) and Bailey's, of course.

...'till next year!

Port Orchard's Chimes and Lights

The Log Cabin Museum had Santa and Mrs. Claus, so we had to stop by and say hello. But my camera was not cooperating. We could have gotten some really cute pictures but for so reason the flash wasn't going off. Lucas was loving sitting with Santa and telling him he wanted Thomas trains for Christmas. And he was actually smiling for the pictures! Tonight we go back downtown for the Annual Chimes and Lights Festival. So stay tuned...hopefully my camera will work properly (or maybe it was operator error:)
