Halloween 2014

Halloween was a busy day, of course! Super glad it was on a Friday this year! Can't believe it's November already!! Frances got to hang with Lucas at school while they did their Trick -R- Treating Parade throughout the building and I snapped a few cute pictures of the kids. The rest of the day was games and food and a piƱata (for Lucas) Frances and I went and attempted to get errands done. When Lucas got home from school, it was carving pumpkins, making pot luck food, then off to friends for a night of indulgence!

Turning 40

I turned 40 last Friday. It was a fabulous weekend. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday. Randy arranged for a surprise dinner party at our friend's house. I was very surprised. To make it even better, my parents, sister, Aunt, cousin and her husband, along with all my friends were in attendance. All ten kids were upstairs having a great time with a babysitter. It was awesome. I wish I had gotten more pictures, especially of the food! Michele made a beautiful roast with all the fixings. It was a tremendous night - made only better by spending the rest of the weekend at Alderbrook Resort and Spa. Fabulous weekend. I really do have an amazing husband, fabulous friends, and a wonderful family. Thank you all so much for the great weekend!

Cousins

Our cousins have moved to town! My cousin and her family have moved from California to Kitsap County! We're so excited to have them here. Haven't lived near family in almost 20 years. Siouxsie and I grew up together and now our kids get to. So happy for them and their new life here in the Puget Sound!!

First Grade

Lucas started first grade yesterday. He was very excited to get back to school and see his friends and teachers. He got right back into the swing of things, didn't miss a beat. His class this year is a kindergarten / first grade mix. There are 12 first graders and 7 kindergarteners. So, Lucas is very happy and glad to be back at school. Can't believe the summer is already over! Here's to a great year!
