Open Mic

We went to a local pub, Moondogs Too, for lunch today, they happen to be having an open mic. Lucas went up and did his thing. Everyone stopped to listen, people even came out of the bar to watch him. He got a huge round of applause, plus a woman gave him a 5 dollar tip! It was great. 

6 months!

Little Frances turned 6 months on Monday! She is 15.1 pounds and 24.5 inches! She's in the 50 percentile - we just found out that they've been measuring her on the preemie chart. If she were on the normal chart she'd be in the 10 - 25 percentile. She's a big, fat, chunky baby, and doing very well. Her heart still sounds like a washing machine (Dr.'s description) but, otherwise she's doing great!  



 

Blackberry Festival

On Labor Day we took the foot ferry over to Bremerton to the annual Blackberry Festival. We always love to watch this guy - He really does a great act and is great with the kids.

Lucas is the one with the horn, trying to make it sound...







...but, given that he couldn't play it - he now waves the wand. Which he does so well :)
