Lucas' frist Piano recital

Very proud of our little boy today. He's only been playing 3 and a half months, and he's doing so well! Keep up the good work, Lucas!

Santa, Santa, Santa, and Santa

This weekend was our little town's tree lighting festival, The Chimes and Lights. So, it was a day of Santa's, lights, and candy canes!
To start the day off Lucas and I worked at a little craft fair.

All the kids in Lucas' school made a craft to sell at the fair - Lucas made this potholder (that I bought, of course!)

Santa!

After downtown, we drove around to look at lights. This fabulous house is our favorite! They invite you to walk their grounds where they have tons of displays,  plus a fire pit and a movie playing!

Lots of photo ops.

Thanksgiving 2014

Thanksgiving this year was a little different, but none-the-less special. I had the flu Wednesday and Thursday, laid out in bed both days. But, my loving husband and sister stepped up, drank mimosas, and cooked Thanksgiving dinner. It turned out great. I didn't eat much on Thanksgiving, but made up for it with leftovers that weekend. On Friday we went and cut down our Christmas Tree. Then we went up to my cousins house and celebrated with them. We had a great leftover dinner. Saturday we decorated the tree and got a trampoline from my neighbor! Plus, we had some snow! It started out rough, but it turned out to be a wonderful thanksgiving weekend!
Great job on the turkey!

What Lucas is thankful for.

Looking for the perfect tree!

It was a wonderful weekend, I am very thankful for my husband and sister - for taking care of me and our dinner and our kids. They made it a very special weekend. I am very lucky! Cheers to the Holidays!

Lucas Turns 7

Lucas turned 7 on Thursday, it was a busy day at school and Karate that evening, but, we managed to celebrate his big day. However, Saturday was the grand finale. He invited all his buddies over to have a Pokemon birthday party. We did lots of games and a piñata, along with cake and presents, exactly what he wanted for his birthday. It was a lot of fun and the kids had a blast. On Sunday, Lucas had a Karate ceremony where he got his next belt, plus, got to show off a bit of his skills, and watch the upper belts do some amazing demonstrations. After that, we went and celebrated at Chuck-E-Cheese, Lucas got a gift card for his birthday! It was a fun filled weekend!

How did he get to be so big?!?

Halloween 2014

Halloween was a busy day, of course! Super glad it was on a Friday this year! Can't believe it's November already!! Frances got to hang with Lucas at school while they did their Trick -R- Treating Parade throughout the building and I snapped a few cute pictures of the kids. The rest of the day was games and food and a piñata (for Lucas) Frances and I went and attempted to get errands done. When Lucas got home from school, it was carving pumpkins, making pot luck food, then off to friends for a night of indulgence!
