Well, Lucas slept in his crib for the first time last night. It was hard to do, but we did it. It started with the 6 month visit to the ped. He told us we needed to bite the bullet and do it. So we did. It started at 6:30 with some dinner of carrots and rice cereal, after, a nice bath. We got into our pj's, read some books, kisses and hugs from mommy and daddy, and in the crib at 7:30. Then, the crying started....and it didn't stop for the next 45 minutes or so, BUT, Lucas soon fell fast asleep. He woke a few times during the night (maybe 4 0r 5), but he made it till the morining -4:30am- that is, when we have to get up and take daddy to the ferry so he can go to work. But, we are proud parents.
New Addition - July 1, 2014 - looking back on this post, I have to add an addendum. We only saw that dr. one time - I didn't like him at all. We only went there to see if we could find a doctor in Port Orchard. We didn't - so we went back to Dr. Chow in Silverdale. We love her. I never let you cry in your crib. This was the first and last time. You were not a good sleeper, not until you go older. At 18 months you began sleeping through the night, and even then you woke often. But, I always went to you. We never let you cry. And now at 6.5 you're a great sleeper! Time passes so quickly...

YAY!! And you and Randy will sleep MUCH better if he's sleeping in his crib - I promise!! Can't wait to see you guys!
Glad to see your blog! The blogging thing is addictive. Love all the pics. Lucas looks adorable as usual and I'm glad to see the sleep thing's going to work. Congrats, too, on the new house!
