Lucas and I ditched the local mommy's group and joined a family nature group. Today was our first outing -- Kopachuck State Park. Great little park in nearby Gig Harbor.

Lucas had to check things out before he got going.

There were lots of families there, and a couple of dogs...

But once he figured out how much cool stuff there is at low tide...

...there was no stopping him.

I hope its no big deal if you eat sand dollars.

There were millions of them, millions.

Lucas got very wet. I thought I was going to loose him to the Sound.

There were two other little boys there Lucas' age.

This is Nathan.

Lucas wasn't to happy to leave, or to be cold and wet. Good thing for car heaters.
