Purdy Spit -- just to the south of us -- Lucas and I went to check out the low tide.
Tons of sand dollars, crabs and clams of every variety.
Don't forget the giant moon snails. That round thing is their egg casing.

Lucas was more interested in the hermit crabs.
The crabs were everywhere.
This sun star was really movin'.
Love low tide, so many animals to discover!
