Staycation

We skipped the tropical islands this year for a vacation in the Great Pacific Northwest. The parents drove up from California - delivering us my Grandfather's old boat! - and stayed for about 10 days. Jana and Cecilia also came up, of course. Cecilia's first time hangin' with the family for an extended period of time. She made us some fantastic blueberry pies, yum! It was a very relaxing time. We stayed up late, slept in, hung around the house, and had a great time.

We ventured out to Owen Beach at Point Defiance Park where we lounged in the sun and took a nice walk.

Lucas road his bike.

Couldn't have a real Northwest vacation without going to Seattle and to Pike Place Market.

Or Randy's favorite restaurant - which recently opened here in Seattle.

Northwest bounty

One of the few sunny days.

We took the monorail to the Seattle Center - the International Fountain was a huge hit with Lucas.

He was having such a great time running around in circles getting soaking wet.

Our highlight - The Space Needle! We had a fantastic lunch up there - it never disappoints.

Checking out the view.

Happy 7 years!

Our little bug :)

As usual, we had a great time together - it always goes so fast. Thanks to my parents for being so wonderful and for all that you do for us kids. Hope the drive home was great!
