First few days...

We arrived on Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday we went grocery shopping, swimming in the pool, and hung around the apartment. Thursday I met up with a friend I haven't seen in 12 years, Kim - we used to work together at the USS Arizona Memorial. She took us to a beautiful spot called La Jolla Cove.

 On Friday, we did the Seal Tour - Picks you up, drives around to Point Loma and in she goes! 60 minutes of touring San Diego Bay. It was interesting.

This is a the Navy dolphin training site. If you look closely at the woman, you can see a dolphin right in front of her.

After we got dropped off, we wondered around the plaza - found the birds...

...and the kites.

Tomorrow we hit the Natural History Museum! Should be fun. Keep you posted!
