Halloween 2012

Happy Halloween! The day started with Lucas dressing as his favorite pirate, Black Jack, and heading off to school for his party - Then, we carved pumpkins, or should I say, I carved the pumpkins. Lucas has a serious aversion to pumpkin carving. Then it was off to Matt and Dawn's house for the evening. Dawn made tacos and the kids played - we also had a birthday celebration for both Lucas and Trevor, since we'll be gone for Lucas' birthday. We sure missed Daddy. He always seems to be gone on Halloween. He left almost two weeks ago for San Diego. But, thankfully, we'll be seeing him in a few days :)

The infamous "Black Jack!"

"Our" pumpkins - Lucas didn't want anything to do with them, didn't like the smell or the guts. It seems the only thing that scares him on Halloween is the carving of the pumpkins. Go figure.

If you listen, you can hear Lucas yell, "Trick' or Treat!"
After trick' or treating, it was time for cake and presents.
It was a great night of frolic and candy. Wish Randy could have been with us, but we're very much looking for to our reunion in San Diego next week!
