First dentist visit

Lucas had his first visit to the dentist today. He sat in the big chair and got to play with all the tools.

He really liked the water sucker.

The tooth polisher was the one thing that really got him to open his mouth. He even let her floss his teeth!

Lucas learned how important it is to brush our teeth from the big green monster.

Very proud of Lucas. He did very well, his teeth look good. The dentist said his teeth are coming in late. The molars are usually breaking through by this age, his aren't showing at all. Which according to him is good. The later the teeth, typically better oral health. We'll see. Lucas is 14 months today!

Playdate with the Lilly-bug

Lucas had his friend Lilly over to play yesterday afternoon.

Lucas was very good at sharing his toys.

I think they had the most fun in the ball pit.

We took down the Christmas tree, Leo has made his peace -- this was his new favorite place to escape Lucas.

Lucas got a new car seat. He's a big boy now, gets to see the world forward facing!

We all bundled up and went to the zoo for their annual Zoo Lights.

California Christmas

We traveled to Merced to visit the family for Christmas. It was a Christmas miracle that we all made it. Snow can't keep us from havin' our holiday.
